Hey Reader,
In my culture, when we haven’t seen someone in a while, we say 오랜만이예요 (oraen-man-iyeyo), meaning “it’s been a long time.”
And it really has. Almost a year, to be exact.
To be perfectly honest, I haven’t written because I didn’t know what to say. Anything I wanted to share felt random, disjointed, and lacking purpose. My head was full of “shoulds” from marketing classes, advice, and “best practices,” most of which left me feeling disconnected from myself, and from you.
But this year is different. I’ve found clarity and a message that feels important to share:
What if the key to our liberation is reconnection?
Last year, I realized something that changed everything: the systems we seek to dismantle—capitalism, colonization, and supremacy—depend on our disconnection. They need us to be fragmented.
Disconnected from ourselves, so we ignore our needs and push through burnout.
Disconnected from each other, so we compete rather than collaborate.
Disconnected from the Earth, so we exploit instead of live in reciprocity.
Disconnected from Spirit and our ancestors, so we forget our wisdom and power.
Reconnection is the medicine. Simple. And deeply challenging.
But it’s where we begin.
I call this the Liberatory Reconnection Framework, and it’s shaping everything I do—how I work, how I heal, how I lead. It’s not a prescription. It’s a remembering.
For the next couple weeks, I’ll be sharing more about this framework, and how it might support you, your community, or your work. My hope is that it offers a path forward—one that’s grounded in care, integrity, and ancestral knowing.
If you’ve been feeling disconnected—from yourself, your community, or your sense of purpose—you’re not alone. Together, let’s explore what it means to reclaim our wholeness.
I’m so looking forward to reconnecting with you.
In solidarity and with care,
